Refund & Cancellation Policy

Your satisfaction is our priority. Please read our policy regarding order cancellations and refunds for food delivery on trains.

1. Order Cancellation

At Yatri Restro, we understand that travel plans can change. You can cancel your food order based on the following conditions:

  • Standard Orders: Cancellation is allowed up to 2 hours before the scheduled arrival time of the train at the delivery station.
  • Pre-cooked/Special Meals: For certain specialty items, cancellation may be required at least 4 hours in advance.
  • Bulk Orders (10+ people): Must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the delivery time to be eligible for a refund.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are processed based on the timing of the cancellation and the nature of the issue:

  • 100% Refund: In case the order is not delivered due to technical issues, train delay beyond service hours, or restaurant-side cancellation.
  • Full Refund: If cancelled by the customer before the 2-hour window mentioned above.
  • No Refund: If cancelled within 2 hours of delivery or if the passenger is unreachable at the specified seat/berth at the time of delivery.
  • Train Delay: If the train is delayed and the delivery is still feasible, no refund is provided for the delay itself. However, if the train bypasses the station or reaches after the restaurant's closing time, a full refund will be initiated.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be initiated in the following cases:

  • Wrong PNR number or Coach/Seat details provided by the user.
  • Passenger not present at the seat when the delivery partner reaches.
  • Mobile number provided is unreachable/switched off at the time of delivery.
  • Cancellation request received after the food has been prepared and dispatched.

4. Refund Process & Timelines

Once a refund is approved, it is processed through the original payment method:

  • Processing Time: Refunds are initiated within 24-48 hours.
  • Credit Timeline: Depending on your bank, it may take 3 to 7 working days for the amount to reflect in your account.
  • Wallet/UPI: Refunds to digital wallets or via UPI are usually faster.

5. Payment Failures

In case of a technical failure where the amount is deducted but the order is not confirmed, the amount is usually auto-refunded by the payment gateway within 5-7 working days. If it doesn't appear, please contact our support with the transaction ID.
