Cancellation Policy
Find out how to cancel your order and what conditions apply for food delivery on your train journey.
1. Methods of Cancellation
Customers can cancel their orders through the following methods:
- Online: Through the "My Orders" section on our website or mobile application.
- Customer Support: By calling our 24/7 helpline at +91 91234 56789.
- Email: By sending a cancellation request to support@foodontrain.com (minimum 4 hours before delivery).
2. Cancellation Deadlines
To avoid wastage and operational issues, we follow strict deadlines for cancellations:
- Standard Individual Orders: Must be cancelled at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time of the train at the delivery station.
- Regional/Specialty Meals: Some items require a 4-hour notice for cancellation.
- Bulk/Group Orders: Orders for more than 10 people must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the delivery time for a full refund.
3. Platform-Side Cancellations
Yatri Restro reserves the right to cancel an order under the following circumstances:
- Restaurant Issues: If the restaurant is unable to fulfill the order due to ingredient shortage or equipment failure.
- Train Cancellations: If the train journey is cancelled by Indian Railways.
- Station Bypassing: If the train bypasses the delivery station due to unforeseen railway operational changes.
- Extreme Weather: In cases where natural disasters prevent our delivery partners from reaching the station safely.
In all the above cases, a 100% refund will be initiated automatically.
4. Order Modification
If you wish to modify your order (add/remove items) instead of cancelling it, please contact our support team at least 3 hours before delivery. Modifications are subject to restaurant approval and price adjustments.
5. Financial Implications
All cancellations and their resulting refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Please review it to understand the credit timelines and eligibility.
Important Note
Once the restaurant starts preparing the food or the order has been dispatched from the restaurant premises, cancellation is no longer possible, and no refund will be issued.
