At Food On Track, we work to make passenger dining seamless. Because we operate as an official unit of YatriRestro (an Authorized IRCTC E-Catering Partner), all dynamic order logs, culinary preparations, and cancellations follow structural protocols set by our parent organization and railway parameters.
1. Methods of Cancellation
Customers can systematically cancel their pending train meal requests via these validated customer channels:
- Online Self-Service: Access the "My Orders" tab on our official website or tracking application to initiate immediate cancellation.
- Customer Support Desk: Contact our centralized 24/7 delivery helpline directly at +91-9264296066.
- Email Request: Send your transaction ID and PNR information to support@foodontrain.com (valid if processed at least 4 hours before the arrival window).
2. Cancellation Deadlines
To minimize inventory waste among FSSAI restaurant partners, we apply strict time boundaries based on order types:
- Standard Individual Bookings: Must be cancelled at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time of the train at your chosen delivery station.
- Regional or Custom Specialty Platters: These delicate items require a mandatory 4-hour notice to halt preparation sequences safely.
- Bulk or Group Travel Orders: Large-scale party catering bookings (more than 10 passengers) require at least a 24-hour notice before delivery time to secure a full commercial refund.
3. Platform-Side Cancellations
Food On Track, in coordination with YatriRestro, reserves the right to cancel food deliveries under the following conditions:
- Vendor Operational Incidents: If a partner kitchen suffers structural shortages, power failures, or sudden FSSAI inspection restrictions.
- Train Cancellations: If the matching journey record is entirely cancelled or terminated by Indian Railways authorities.
- Route Alterations or Station Bypassing: If unexpected track issues or traffic controls force the train to bypass the delivery station.
- Extreme Weather & Force Majeure: In situations where severe environmental disasters compromise rider safety.
In all platform-initiated cancellation scenarios, a 100% full refund is instantly pushed into YatriRestro's banking logs.
4. Order Modification Boundaries
If you prefer modifying your ongoing basket parameters (adding or exchanging menu items) instead of triggering a full cancellation, communicate with our support desk at least 3 hours before station arrival. Adjustments remain subject to active kitchen validation and real-time billing variations.
5. Financial Implications
All digital payment transactions, bank reversal timelines, and credit details are governed tightly under our corporate Refund Policy framework. Please consult that section to map out specific credit return timelines.
Important Processing Notice
Once an FSSAI-approved restaurant partner starts cooking your food or the tracking status marks the shipment as dispatched, cancellation paths close. No financial balance reversals or item returns can be accepted past this threshold.
